12 - 36 months

After the first 12 months, it is important for children to learn to sort and develop fine motor skills . Montessori toys help children develop their fine motor skills and encourage children to learn to experiment with toys.

Sorting, building and puzzling are interesting games for this age, they develop fine motor skills, spatial insight and problem-solving thinking.

Movement and rhythm are also important at this age. Think of musical toys, balancing or walking with pull toys.

Of course, the imagination should not be neglected at this age. Cuddly toys, dolls and picture books stimulate the child's imagination and vocabulary .
