From toddlers onwards, children learn to build with patterns, but also with their imagination. Open-ended toys ensures that there are no fixed rules or structures. Children use their own imagination and creativity (think kinetic sand) . This is important for the cognitive and mental development of the child.

Creatively Toys at this age stimulate both the imagination and the coordination of the hands. Dolls are also important for the imagination and the awareness of other people around them.

Building blocks, construction toys and puzzles ensure longer concentration , spatial insight and further development of motor skills.
